hey how do u make custom spoilers. and how do u hinge the doors and hood? so ya thanx for ur help :nod: :nod: :nod: :nod:

you cant really make custom spoilers that easily... cxp makes some amazing custom spoilers if you were looking to buy some... and hinging is pretty easy. You just need a hinging set and then put the in place on where you want them (hood etc.) You will need to cut out the trunk or the doors if you wanna hinge them...

it took me about 15 minutes to hinge my hood with CXP's tut.
and yes they do have amazing custom spoilers i bought #1
do you have a dremal?? that would make things a lot easyer! :lol: :nod:

Great for show, not for go. It adds unecessary weight and who wants doors and hoods flapping around. I'd do it for a show shell, but that's about it.

i hinged my hood you can still screw it down so that it dosnt flap in the wind. :lol: :nod:
but i have to agree with you about the extra weight those spoliers add some of that on to your car. but i dont really race with the on i put the custom spoiler on. :D

Oh yeah, sometimes I forget the simplest things, I dunno old age maybe? If I do another "show body" I think I want to do the hood and maybe the doors, I'm not sure. If there was an interior, I wouldn't hesitate to do the doors. Although it's a great way to show off a custom chassis and mods.

i dont think that i will be doing my doors and trunk cause i jus dont want to take the risk of ruining a good body!!
