Ok, for a project I was thinking about doing a mini garage. With a working garage door. For my X-mods. What kind of things would I need besides wood to make the base out of?? I know nothing about electronics...help me out plz ;-)

Thanks.

Hmm I would say maybe some small hobby electric motors to open the door(s) run on a small switch. That would own.

Spray paint the wood pieces before you put it together.

Lol.. I was kidding abou that you can put what you want on it. How big do you think you want it? I would suggest drawing out like a blueprint first.

Not super big...something I can have like...on a nightstand or something and have a ramp going up to it. Something kind of out of the way in my room ;-). Or in the living room, hell I dunno. Somewhere. I'm heading to bed now though. L8rz.

If you want it on a nightstand, instead of having it go up a ramp, make a lift for it :rr: , jk (even though that'd be tight as hell). Good luck with your project man; if you do it right, then it would be really cool.

Thanks guys ;-). I'll try to get started on it this weekend. The lift sounds like a good idea. What kind of powersource would I use? Batteries? Maybe an outlet or something?

use 4 strings attatched to a motorized mini winch(make it yourself) thread through brackets and create a little cardboard lift tunnel.(with holes to see in.)

wire a 3way switch to operate the lift.
