The specs of the dodge charger would be black with blue flames and a drag engine sticking out of the hood!

The specs of the Honda Civic would be Black with Pink flames and a Wide bodykit with the works 7 star rims that would be chrome and the works of a T.V and the stereos and stuff like that you would see in a really nice Tuner CAR!!!!!!!!! Or Truck

Also that is a sweet sig I was looking up sigs in my browser and saw this one!

torredo
07-05-2006, 10:46 AM
i got the K&N last night and installed it... the results were
minimal so i went ahead and ordered a Cold air intake to replace
the K&N which will give me an added 10HP

I don't want to start a war but I have news for every body Civics are not sports cars. They are economy cars.

but their is nothing wrong with that.

that like putting a body kit on a turd its pointless now it you truly built the engine up that would be cool but wide body kits an **** like that are pointless nothing but dead weight

LOL!!!!!!! Nice so you payed half and you're parents payed for half was it a birthday gift or something like that? But it's a nice car I would take a 2000 or a 2001 civic any day I like the style or head light's and tail light's! and their body kit styles but a new civic would be nice too But I WOULD NEVER TAKE A NEW CHARGER THEY ARE THE STUIPEDIEST CARS MADE BY DODGE I HAVE SEEN IN MY LIFE But I can't wait till the new challenger comes out well can't really say it's coming out they need a spot in the car factory to have the car made so it might come out it might not  Do you live down in the states or something because I have not seen a back ground like that up in Canada at all in my life!

The Cold Air Intake I installed in my 318is increased my HP by 15, and I get alomst 38 mpg (average) with it. It's a nice and worthy investment. Next Stop, Exhaust!

10HP was a guess....im not exact on the output of the Cold air
intake yet. But as for the cost of the civic....

20k pricetag
4k taxes
5k trade-in
3k rims&tire combo
Plus+++ everything else ive got on it or installing yet...

And the car comes 140HP stock (SOHC 1.8L 4CYL)

Should have got the SI :)

DragOreoCar
07-05-2006, 11:09 PM
nice that's really a good price! I would take the Si or the one you have tor doesn't bother me AI would take any car that was good!

torredo
07-05-2006, 11:40 PM
actually.....the reason i chose the civic i did was because
the torque of DX-G, EX, LX and the Si are relatively close
to each other. Only the HP on the Si is above mine by 50HP
which i can easily achieve. The V-force exhaust I have on
my car sounds just like the Si by what Honda tells me.

another thing ill be changing to get the extra ooomph is
install a RSX 6-speed as this is pretty much what honda
put in the Si models.

BlackSky909
07-06-2006, 02:13 AM
With all the money your putting in this thing to make it like an SI you just could have bought the SI. ;)

torredo
07-06-2006, 03:13 AM
i dont like DOHC....ive had it bad with previous cars
taking out the valves/pistons....

ill stick to SOHC and slap Turbo & Intercooler on it
then call mine a Ti (Turbo/Intercooled)./ so screw Si

lmao

COOL! That Civic is very similar to my BMW 318is! Would be a good race!

Another reason I chose the DX-G:

- In order to get an Si model you had to put a deposit down to Honda
before they even started to build one for you which had a 4 month wait.
LamE!

- I got 15" wheels with hubcaps included on the Civic which....
meant i could use the money i saved for the 18" with 40's i have
now installed and still have all seasons for the winter.

- Im not sure how much room is under the hood with the DOHC as
it is already tight with the SOHC, but there is room for a turbo for
my car.

- I also included in the package when i bought this car factory Fog lights
and had Limo tint as part of the trade in too all included.

- This DX-G i have was the ONLY black 5-speed on the lot when i
went there to buy my car.

**Only difference i lost between my DX-G Vs. the LX models was
a moon roof (which i hate anyhow) and cruise control.
So between those to options my car isnt too far off anyhow.

Tor get a body kit with a very areodemanic spoiler then you're car will be rockin' on the areodemanic's! The n you would pick up more speed (better and faster!) Then you get a sick muffler put (Duals) then you would be kickin' it down the street! I have seen a guy with a green cavalier he has a supercharger in it and some nos body kit spoiler and more stuff like that! He just rips it around I can't believe how fats that car is! gross colour though :$

Lmao foreal, what a noob.

torredo
07-07-2006, 10:31 AM
a body kit will give you aerodynamics as long as its a Full kit
around the whole car and the vehicle is right to the ground,
as the wind doesnt get so much undeneath the car lifting it.

as for the wing ,this puts force on the rear of the car under
high speeds....

so, yes....he is right you guys!!

Spoilers are supposed to be for traction in my book.

brad8758
07-07-2006, 12:53 PM
Yup, spoilers are to add traction to the back, and unless you're going quite a bit faster than your normal civic, there is no point in putting down force on the rear. IMO, spoilers are for rwd cars, although I wouldnt ever put one on anything I owned, unless I was building a strict drag or track car.

torredo
07-07-2006, 02:01 PM
exactly what i said!

the wing on the rear applies force onto the rear of the car thus....
giving the car rearward traction.
However...

I have one on my eclipse and once i hit 160 KMH it works well, and my
Civic has hit 160KHM and i havent even hit 5th speed yet either...lmao
