ok, trying to install the stage 2 drag motor and having a lil problems with it.. i detached the chassis part so now its in two pieces and a metal shaft came out of it, looked like something i would need for AWD but i have RWD do i need to put this shaft back in or no? is there a certain way for it to go back in?

i think it will be a good idea to put the shaft in so the gear u are using will stay in and also so u wont hear a little clicy thing if u dont have the shaft....

Sounds like your driveshaft is catching or something.

i didnt even think of that. ill have to check it out, is there a certain way the driveshaft goes in? cuzz i jus stuck it in the front so it would fit but i made it line up correctly for the back gear. also i noticed i broke the lil metal screw hole thing off the antenna wire so i thought that may be it but i dont know

when working on the cars, if you let the antenna touch anything that has current ruuning thru it, you can fry your board maybe thats what happened, the driveshaft will not cause you to loose steering even if its put in wrong, and if your good at soldering there is a upgrade you can do that might fix it, the upgrade also gives you a tighter steering.

solder the antenna thing back in to its place and hopefully you didnt touch the antenna on the battery or the motor and you will be fine?:@)

The driveshaft should pass through a front bearing, make sure the bearing didnt pop out of place and jam the steering.

you need rhw shaft to make it go and it can be used for awd if u have thst to instal but defently put the drive sshaft back in
