View Full Version : 6-cell....last longer?

Well, my truck is eating through batteries, it appears the torque required to pull the trailer takes a little power....hmmmm

anyway, I don't have the money to be spending on liths now. and when I do, I don't think I'll be getting them for the chevy. but I've got lots of battery holders. if I go to 6-cell, will it last longer? or will it just have more power?

since the batteries will all still have the same mAh rating, I was thinking they might not, but then again, the extra power might mean it won't work as hard to move, so it won't go through them as fast.....someone solve this for me, before my brain cells explode, lol

six cells do not last long they go in about 20 minutes.

you would only incease you voltage the mah would still be the same. I hear that you can but triple a liths now at the store the mah sould be longer on them. or rechargeables

well to tell you the truth 6 cell is not that good yes it gives you more power but the run time gets cut down and the car gets hot VERY hot now i am talking about a gen 1 with stage two 10 tooth i ran my CAR once with 6 cell and took it off when i was done and will not do it again i might use try a 5 th cell but not 6 it just is not woth the time to do it

yea, me either, especially since both the trucks that I was thinking of using are moving very slow. My Chevy already gets super hot when pulling the trailer....

get some neo magnets for it the torque is AMAZING on my f-150 going fast enought i can swerve and flex the chassis and get one of the front wheels off the ground! neos with a six cell would work well

check

as I said in my origional post, it's not more torque that I need, it's more battery life.
