it's actually not as nice as it looks. it's an old car. it's had the gas tank overflow at least once (clearcoat peeling off under filler), it's got chips, a couple little dents, a piece of the passenger side rear-view mirror is gone.

But $4500 for a car with 60k miles on it!!! and ZERO rust, on a car that's been in Minnesota (Salt/Rust capitol) it's entire existance!!

I took these pics last summer, it wasn't running well, so for fathers day, I fixed it (turned out to be bad spark plug wires), washed it, and took some pictures for him (he's still got one of them as his desktop on his computer). so the pics are of it perfectgly clean and in the sunlight.

but nonetheless, it's a sweet car, I took it to prom my senior year.....let's just say that after the festivities, we took the T-tops out and explored the countryside :p

i like the 70's Z's myself.
Owned a few too....

One was tricked out ,slammed and had Pirreli P4 Cintaratos (spellins off i know) but these tires hooked up and this f'ing Z ate 5.0 for lunch NO BS,
it had a raced out Fairlady engine and superchip

My buddie **** his pants when we ate the geeks stang

it needs some new rims hardcore. THEN lower it and it will look sexy.

Dude.. It's his father's Mid-Life Crisis car... the last thing on his mind is having a sexy looking RX-7

The wheels are very nice, just small. We just got the 5-lug swap parts off a turbo Z in the local junkyard, and we're going to try to find the 16" wheels of the same style. And he just put on 1.5" lowering springs and performance struts on it this spring. Then he's doing some minor engine upgrades. it'll be a fun little car!

kidZim.....you couldn't be any farther from the truth, above and beyond the fact that it's a NISSAN 300ZX, and not a MAZDA RX-7. He wants this to be pretty quick, but **** sexy. he's having the valve covers, and timing belt covers powdercoated. he just completely replaced the headliner, and had the factory radio rebuilt.

actually, no you can't (not on a reasonable budget anyway), and certainly not in their n/a form

I believe that ZX implies that it's turbo, right? I'm sorry, I meant the engine series that was in the Silvia's, whichever one that was.
