not trying to start anything but i would have to say me or konartist. even though you guys never seen konartist's work. well b/c he don't have a xmod. but he showed you guys his model work posted in that introducing section. so i guess he don't really count. out of all the forums i go to, i would just say me b/c i haven't seen anyone else with clean, accurate, or realistic custom work.(even though i haven't finished my project yet, but its close!!) Cxp can be good. i could see potential in his work but his exterior work isn't clean at all. if he practiced more he'll probably get better. i have about 3 years of experience in car modeling so i know what i'm doing and i have pics to prove it. sorry for sounding really conceited but i think it's the truth.

well before joining the air force i went to an I-car certified collision repair school and did body repair i can do bondo but even better i am bad *** with fiberglass and urathane. so since i have profesional training i would say i am the best.

i have bondo experience too. but not fiberglass and urethane experience. even though you have experience with that stuff, there's a difference between professionally trained and skilled in detailing with the substance. when it comes to these little cars, it's not as much about being able to use the material. it's more about doing detailed and proportioned work that looks realistic. my question to you is if you could do scaled realistic work on small cars? if yes i would like to see. :D b/c i don't see that many people with good exterior work.

i will start fooling around with my car a bit and mesing with models, and i will post pics of my fiber glass work at a later point in time.

Btw i don't realy think i am the best, but i think i am just as good as all the pictures i have seen on this site.

too bad the paint job on my rsx xmod isn't that good. those are old pics. i recently restored the paint to make it shine and reflect like a real car. i'll post new pics of it later today.

I got XMODS for my nephews for Christmas, and I think I'm going to srart getting into them now myself. I've done 1/32nd scale slot cars for about 15 years now and I even vacuform my own bodies. I'm more than likely going to figure a way to hang a vacuformed AMG Mercedes DTM on my XMOD, my nephew has already placed a request for the Focus ZX3 I'm creating a 1/32nd scale buck for now. This should lower the center of gravity and decrease the weight for racing, which is what we're looking to do. While not as detailed as the fine work I've seen here those of you with large scale R/C experience know they look great anyway.
