Hi everyone,

I am modifying my xmod. I made a customchassis of carbon and will soon start with an upperdeck. The standard electronics will be replaced by a very small Graupner servo, small receiver and a microprocessed speedcontroller which can handle 20amps. I switched to this setup cause I'll change the stock motor to a 40K motor which draws a lot more current. I also use Lith-ion cells, 7.4v 670mah.
I am looking for some special parts to complete my project: i am looking for a 10teeth pinion and yellow gear. I also look for the alloy cup joints from custom rc products.
When the project si finished i'll post some pics here.[/i]

Don't forget to make it brushless as long as you're reconfiguring the whole car.... :o

The stock FET's in the electronics will be fried whenI'll hit the throttle of the motor. I ordered instead of the 40k motor a 60k motor. The micro you've seen on my website is a HPI MICRO and is modified by me with 7cells, Graupner 300 motor and a carbon panstyle chassis. My XMOD will be different. It will feature a double deck chassis, micro esc, servo and receiver so I can use my Sanwa/Airtronics M8 transmitter. I'll post next weeknd the first pics of the chassis without electronics.
