i just got a xmod its a 350z its my first xmod and im tring to do something cool to it does any body have any ideas

great choice! :D

first i painted mine gloss black and added a black body kit to it,
and some vinals.

Tamiya paints rock (if you can find em) I've had good luck with Testors rattle cans. Airbrushing works the best though.

Hey,
I think Tamiya paints are pretty good. I use them I've had good results with them myself.

hey StiXxX sorry to keep you waiting this is the same guy as tuned350zguy i had some trouble with the website. :x

any way i used regular spray paint that i got from Lowes hardware.
its gloss black and all purpose.

no prob about the time :nodno: the paints that i have used came from HomeDepot(Rustolium) and at some other random hardware store i got Krylon Fusion spraypaint it works really well :nod:

I used testorsed paint on a cheap model to test it and it turned out all lumpy and blocthy

the paint will come out like that if your too close to the model or if you spray on too much at one time.....
or it could just be cheap paint... :lol: where did you get it ??
i got mine at lowes hardware :nod:

with testors, it's best to use very light coats. As with all paints, it's crucial to first use primer. And also make sure to clear the sprayhead (by turning the can upside down and spraying) frequently to keep it from getting clogged.

hey i got mine at lowes i got three colors and two types
1.gloss black (Quick Color)
2.metalic silver (rustolium)
3.sky blue (Quick Color)
oh and i painted my 350z black
