hey guys, i'm prob. going to get a xmod for chrismas and i thought that it would be cool if i painted the body? And also what kind of paint do i use and do i paint the whole body kits, like i meen do i paint the whole side skirts or do i leave the part that snapes in unpainted?

if you got a Nissan skyline and then you painted it metallic blue with a flat black hood or all flat black like the *****in subaru in sport compact car magazine.

Trust me, paint it. It's worth it. I recommend that you practice laying down even coats before painting your Xmod. I painted each body peice (exc. hood) individually. It comes out better.


This was the Skyline body that came with my Xmod. I used Testors Candy apple red with a metallic gold basecoat. It came out pretty good. (I still have the body and custom Nismo rims if anyones interested)
