If you enjoy a nice little RC car and have the money to really go out and upgrade it, they are great. Stock cars are cool for chasing the dog around with but when you put 100-200 into it with li-ions, FETs, motors + all the RS upgrades they are awsome (When they are doing 40MPH..lol) They are good. A Car with all RS upgrades is cool you'll spend around 115 for all the upgrades from RS (Including a car) so thats not 2 bad. Any other questions, just ask. Oh! Get a soldering iron and a good set of IC-3's or rechagables! The wires on stock xmods are terrible and fall off so you need a soldering iron for that. It helps to read! wires break if you turn hard and fast . that won't happen intull you get a new motor or something!!! Liths aka li-ions, make your car double in speed, like goup to 20 mph, and ifyou do enought it will go 40 +mph. MNM i think is soposto have a 49 mph xmods. yah it is worth the money. just don't buy non radioshack upgrades if you are planning to do rcaes sponsered by radio****!

yea, they're worth it cuz they're relatively inexpensive...the expensive part is makin them get up to 40mph...which in my opinion is great for drags but not for any other race that involved turning

for a basic kit it is worth it but if you plan to mod the heck out of it ,you are probably better off to get a 1/10th type a car

I am totally into Xmods. For the price, ya can't beat em. Sure you could go out and buy a mini z, but it'll cost you. Some of the extreme mods I have seen just blow my mind. I am in the process of building a 30 or 40+ mph Xmod. I can't wait to get it done. :D

Buy one. I think you'll like it.

xmods are spectacular! especially when they're given as a Christmas present! Had I not received one as a gift I would not mind blowin' the 50$ on one at all. In fact i'd prefer to see the OEM make higher quality stock parts and maybe charge an extra 10$ or so. I'd like to get my H2 up to about 30mph, anything over that would seem unrealistic and be hard to control. I plan on spending maybe another 100$ over what I have so far.
