Too late, i tried that, my folks kicked me out when I was 18. I'm 46 BTW and enjoy XMODS just as much as anyone else.

ROFL!!! Prolly not, you haven't asked me for cash yet. If you were one of my kids you would have had your hand in my pocket when I walked throught the door.

Seriously, I've raced slot cars since I was 5 years old, the old Auroura Thunderjets, I even have a couple of my original cars. I've raced all scales, even had my own business producing performance parts and vacuformed bodies for them. I raced 1/12th, 1/10th and quarter scale R/C, and I have a few Kyosha R/C's that I still play with around the BMX track in my back yard. I got into XMODS a year ago Christmas because my nephews got cars, I now own what's left of theirs...parts mostly.I have one complete car and am working on my next one in about a week. I make my own tires from RTV silicone, like the kind you used for bathroom caulking. I have a Dremel jig that I true them up on using single edge razor blades, worked for more than 30 years with slot cars, works with aluminum wheels for XMODS too. I'm just now realizing the real potential of these little cars.

I just do the tires on existing wheels. I may do one but it's very dangerous and I don't think the site wants the liability of some 15 year old losing a finger while trimming a tire for an XMOD. The plastic wheels won't work, they break really fast at 3,000 rpm when a load is put in them.

Anyway, not to jack the thread for a tire discussion, but I'll do something once I figure the best way to do it.

And like most I'm a kid at heart, I guess thats why I decided to major in animation in school (soon to be graduating too also).
