Body Kits

Can you buy custom body kits different from those at radioshack? the supra's bodykit is extremely uglY
if you know where i can get a cstm bodykit done, post a reply and let me know

Right now there are two options for those who want a custom body kit.

Option one, use a mini z body. There is a good thread in the general discussion on this.

Option two, For the more adventuresome buy a regular plastic model kit and either by hook or crook get it to fit on your xmod :yup:

actually the supra kit is aight, the 350z body kit is way better, and about the custom body kit. u probably have to make it yourself useing contour putty and sanding it to make it smooth and then painting it.

if you do go for some real custom bodykit work then heres some advice from a pro don't use contour putty. for custom work(like mine) you need tamiya epoxy putty. theres 2 different ones, quick type and smooth surface. both works the same but to get things going faster i suggest the quick type.

if u want a dif body kit get a body kit frum like the skyline or wutever body kit u like and sand it down and fill in gaps with putty until it fits but u wil nead to paint it to mathc the color of ur xmod or else it looks od

if u think some of it is bad then mix the body kits
but u might need to paint it

Also, if not... I really havent had good luck painting any of my bodies.... so... any tips???
