if i buy lithium ions do i have to buy a special charger or can i just charge it in a normal nidc and/or nihm er whatever charger?

yo have to buy the special charger..or if you charge in the regular one..i heard it blow up

The AA li-ions we have here cannot blow up. There is a special piece on the positive end that is designed to rupture so the cell doesn't literally explode. Li-ions cannot be charged in a regular charger. You must buy a charger that can charge Lithium Ions.
