Since I have a plethora of time this summer (recovering from knee surgery) I've decided to rethink a project / thought experiment that's been on my mind for a long time.

Some of you might remember my micro revo concept but due to some logistics I shelved it. The concept was good but lacked functionality.

My goal for this project is to fabricate a useable micro rc18t.

I have sourced material to combine with some really nice carbon fiber fabric for a custom hand shaped chassis.

I have a load of parts from xmods, mini-z (mr02 and awd) and TL micro DT's

It'll hopefully pass the time.

Stay tuned?

Ive gotten a start on some of the parts blending:

In the photos below you can see the start of the rear control arms with the knuckle for the axle. Ive taken a Micro-T arm and with a bit of cutting and shaping made a "knuckle" from the MA010 Atomic SAS system.

A ballstud link will make the upper control arm and i just need to get a very tiny drill bit to make a through hole for mounting some hardware. There are screws in the Micro-T kit that have a smooth shaft with a few threads near the screw head that'll do nicely for easy smooth pivot action...

Having some fun.:bigwink:
