See what happens when I get bored..?

Decided I would be like Rustler001 and put an old Xmod body to use. Plus I was really bored and it was 102F today so didn't really want to go outside. I do realize my toe is out of whack, thank you hand made steering links. I need to make new ones that have proper toe. The axles are a bit too wide for the body but it's no big deal. The wing on the back is going to go and the sharpie paint job that I did 3 years ago will be going too. Once I get another Brushless motor, it'll be a runner. I made it just a tad bit too short, the chassis but I'm leaving it alone. Might remove the aluminum and make it a bit longer(the chassis) so it lines up but still need to mount the body and re-do my steering links. This will be the tow rig for my micro Silverado 8)

What do you think of my boredom project? lol

I warned you :p

a bit of advice, since it it is a stadium truck, and its 2wd, the front wheels
move backwards as the suspension travels, you might run into many problems when driving unless u have SUPER hard springs, thats why mine is mounted a bit forward, to let more suspension travel in, and so it want bind
and flip every time
i go over a bump, lol

looks real good, i like how my idea is being spread around :D

The material that I use to make the steering links makes it very hard to compress the front end, even by hand. Plus the addition of oil filled shocks and 40WT oil, I shouldn't run into many problems  And yes it is, it inspired me to give life to my old X-Truck body.

I'm just curious. Does that mean if you jump off a curb or edge, and the front tires hit the ground. Does your truck go boing? LOL. Some odd reason I wanna se that. :9

Suggestion for your project, awhile back someone had used an xmod battery tray on their micro t in lieau of the micro t battery, and it extended the run times substantially, since you've already extended the chassis you might make use out of an xmod board.

My two cents anyhow.

It's off to a great start.

the tire hits the body, causing the front wheels to stop spinning, which makes it flip lol, its funny

I might, or I may try to fit a bigger 2S LiPo into it being the brushless motor and LiPo work well together
