Well, long, long ago, in a galaxy far, far away, lived a project called "Project Ehh" (not a Canadian reference)
as time past, a competiton on urc emerged, and now, presenting
Project Ehh V2.187564938475623820383465474
and to be more clear
it's a 2wd $300 limit(electronics dont count) all terrain project, must be finished by august 31st

im planning on making a micro t scale puller, and i can pull my xmods around
i already had a project on it, made it into a hummer, but my f150 has the holes made for a trailer, so im gonna redo everything and put the f150 body on it.. then if i have time, make a trailer.. im just planning out a couple more things(other projects) and then ill start

this is the project as it sits now.. unfinished
http://i326.photobucket.com/albums/k436/hibisi/Micro-t/microscaler001.jpg
this will be the new body
http://i326.photobucket.com/albums/k436/hibisi/Micro-t/microscaler002.jpg
http://i326.photobucket.com/albums/k436/hibisi/Micro-t/microscaler003.jpg
http://i326.photobucket.com/albums/k436/hibisi/Micro-t/microscaler004.jpg
as you see.. it's an xmods f-150 body... its been beat up... beat up real bad...
and i added a towing hitch
http://i326.photobucket.com/albums/k436/hibisi/Micro-t/microscaler005.jpg
http://i326.photobucket.com/albums/k436/hibisi/Micro-t/microscaler006.jpg
some scratches
http://i326.photobucket.com/albums/k436/hibisi/Micro-t/microscaler007.jpg
http://i326.photobucket.com/albums/k436/hibisi/Micro-t/microscaler008.jpg
the rear "roll cage" will go there
http://i326.photobucket.com/albums/k436/hibisi/Micro-t/microscaler009.jpg
as u see.. i had lights
http://i326.photobucket.com/albums/k436/hibisi/Micro-t/microscaler010.jpg
aaaaaand.. now it's gone.. along with the rear mounts
http://i326.photobucket.com/albums/k436/hibisi/Micro-t/microscaler012.jpg
this is how i had mounted the hummer(bad idea from the start.. lol)
http://i326.photobucket.com/albums/k436/hibisi/Micro-t/microscaler011.jpg
with the mount off.. this is how it was lengthened
http://i326.photobucket.com/albums/k436/hibisi/Micro-t/microscaler013.jpg
the wheelbase difference
http://i326.photobucket.com/albums/k436/hibisi/Micro-t/microscaler014.jpg
http://i326.photobucket.com/albums/k436/hibisi/Micro-t/microscaler015.jpg
http://i326.photobucket.com/albums/k436/hibisi/Micro-t/microscaler016.jpg
and the rear tower hits the bed, but with the roll cage in place, it should protect it once i make a hole for it to go through(or maybe it might not even go through... maybe a different mounting method will be used
http://i326.photobucket.com/albums/k436/hibisi/Micro-t/microscaler017.jpg

that's about it for now... more to come
costs so far
Micro-T RTR - $80
Bearings - $10
3 Racing alloy tranny case with bearings for the spur gear shaft $16
X-Truck Shock Set(the micro-t is using x-truck shocks) $15
F-150 body w/ body kit - $15
Tow Hitch Mod - $1 or use of spares(i used spares that were laying around)

total cost so far: $137
well.. i thought... hell.. i have a full 3 weeks.. why not just play around with it a bit
turned it back into a regular T to drive around
and the reason i say 3 weeks is cause im going to palm springs after this week.. and im staying there for a week.. cutting it 1 week short for me, but ill manage
http://i326.photobucket.com/albums/k436/hibisi/Micro-t/microscaler018.jpg
and just for a comparison.. thats how long the body is compared to a stock t
http://i326.photobucket.com/albums/k436/hibisi/Micro-t/microscaler019.jpg

:D
update:
got in the DT wheels
http://i326.photobucket.com/albums/k436/hibisi/Micro-t/microscaler020.jpg
http://i326.photobucket.com/albums/k436/hibisi/Micro-t/microscaler021.jpg
i h8 e-clips, i do have threaded axles, but im missing a wheel nut, and the axles are too short so if i over tighten it, the wheels dont spin, if i keep it loose, the nut flies off....... yay me...
http://i326.photobucket.com/albums/k436/hibisi/Micro-t/microscaler022.jpg
http://i326.photobucket.com/albums/k436/hibisi/Micro-t/microscaler023.jpg
http://i326.photobucket.com/albums/k436/hibisi/Micro-t/microscaler024.jpg
http://i326.photobucket.com/albums/k436/hibisi/Micro-t/microscaler025.jpg
http://i326.photobucket.com/albums/k436/hibisi/Micro-t/microscaler026.jpg
i used one of the wheel nuts i have as a slipper nut, just for the hell of it lol

Wheels - $8
1 Red Alloy Wheel Nut - $1? seeing as how a full set costs $4? i thought 1 would cost $1
total so far
$146

started with the spacers, starting with the main spacer, the bottom one
layed out on an xmod starter kit box
http://i326.photobucket.com/albums/k436/hibisi/Micro-t/microscaler027.jpg
http://i326.photobucket.com/albums/k436/hibisi/Micro-t/microscaler028.jpg
layed out on the truck wheel wells
http://i326.photobucket.com/albums/k436/hibisi/Micro-t/microscaler029.jpg
i removed the rear bed so the rear tower does not hit it and mess up the spacing
http://i326.photobucket.com/albums/k436/hibisi/Micro-t/microscaler030.jpg
a dremel and 10 minutes later, i had that, i forgot to take a pic before i marked it with more sharpie
http://i326.photobucket.com/albums/k436/hibisi/Micro-t/microscaler031.jpg
i had to cut out the sides for the rear arms to go down
http://i326.photobucket.com/albums/k436/hibisi/Micro-t/microscaler032.jpg
all cut out, ready for holes

Xmod Box - $10 (called in radio shack, gave them the xmod item number, they pulled out the SKU's and looked up, the box alone was $10)
Total so far
$156

Why does it look like the rear end is out of whack? Looks like it drive crooked. It could just be me

what do u mean about the rear end? looks fine to me

it dirves sideways cause of the carpet, and my steering links would love to be replaced, it drives fine on concrete and harder surfaces tho
