Here is what i think im going to add 2li-polycells,AWD,V2, and here is where im stuckfor the motor do u think Fat Boy HC or The X-2 pro edition (wich cliams 50mph w/ li-poly). nice car :D , anyways if you're going to use the V2 then it works best with the fatboyHC because it can handle the current, and other motors overheat from the high current from the V2, according to AtomicMods. Not sure about X2 but i would use stacked FETs just incase, and the X2 was made for use with Li-Poly batteries

thx, but the x2 has a fat cumilater just like the fatboy. that is what rob says alows it to handle high current

^^true, if UndergroundXmods is right about the X2 going 50mph with the Li-Poly then breaking 40 should be easy.

the only thing i dont like about the x-2 is it is $55. but if it dose what it is suposed to it would be worth every penny.

and dose anyone know if you can use a li-ion charger 4 the li-polys or do you need a different charger

li-po's and li-ion's take different charge modes. My duratrax ice charger has different modes for each. I.E., one for ni-cd, one for ni-mh, one for li-po and one for li-ion. If you charge them on the wrong setting you could do damage to the cells and possibly cause an explosion. 8)
