The one the only 8x8 xmod!

Thats right!! The very first xmod 8x8 lives XXX did a amazing job on it and i can not thank him enough for building this. It has been a dream of mine for 2 years but i could never get it to run right so thanks to XXX it is now alive!!

I can go on and on with all the amazing stuff thats been put onto this. Again I cannot thank XXX enough for doing such a amazing job on it.

Im not 100% on the body yet it will be something sick but im not sure if i just wanna leave it with no body lol

Awesome man, how much did he charge you?? (you dont really have to answer that one) I am surprised the stock board can handle 2 motors, can you get a picture of the motor wiring??

That's nice. XXX always does outstanding work. Should take a truck, split it behind the rear fender and add another wheel well behind it. And for the front I haven't a clue.

So there's $75 in the mail headed your way. Can you try and get it shipped by Friday? I'll be out of town so the sooner the better. Jkjk

welllll guys i know i said id get a video but no good 9volts for the controller so i had to wait then it got dark so sunday is the only day ill have time in the moring lol cause of my crazy schedule but trust me ill gets vids of the beast

your right its only rear for now but im going to figure out something for the first steering axle in the front to have power. no way to get the 2nd steering axle powered because thats where the servo sits lol

ok. so its really only a 4X8 truck because only the 4 rear tires are turning.

Its still the coolest thing I've ever seen done to an xmod.

i've been thought in a mod like this, making a Tatra T813 out of Xmods lol but the suspension Tatra look-alike, will be such a hard work on it

As of right now no. But as i get more time i will be doing a body or i might send it back to XXX and have him do the body because that way i know it will be high quality. Or Dr.Kustom! Thanks for the interest by the way

Hey GearHead, what's up. I hope the Tatra is running ok... If I rememebr right I was having some issues with the servo before I had to get it out to you before leaving. I can't see any of your images here becasue the Military server blocks them from the website. If there is anything not working properly ill gladly fix her up when i get back.

It took a lot of modding time to figure out, just the front dual steering... I guess to push the bar, the next project would be to make an actual 8x8, this Xmod did run and steer very well when it was in my shop.... but getting power to the front wheels would be a huge endevour.... I guess doing a true 8x8 should be tackled by someone soon. Take care guys, Ill chat more when I get back from Afghan... Have happy holidays.
