those jls are actually 5 years old they were one of the first shallow subwoofers available and i have a 400 watt amp on em and if you crack the windows down a lil bit your teeth will rattle out of your mouth

Eww, I would have stayed away from a prefab box.

Oh well, personal preference.

It's actually really easy to do.

Quick question.
Did you get subs just to have a little "bump" in your daily sound, or were you planning on showing off?
If you plan on showing off, you're gonna want to eventually build your own ported box. A sealed box like what you have don't have much air movement.

No, no, no, no, no, nooooooooooooo you can't.
Porteing a prefabbed box will SEVERELY mess with your dimensions, and result in a VERY low quality system, and as well a box tuned ENTIRELY too high.

yeah the sub a had was a 10 that was rated at 350 yours look like 12's but i know there kinda old but they still sound good. i'm sure your gonna have haters beat'n on you because your system is "old" but really who gives a **** besides you. i kinda like my **** old anyway. sure there are newer better things but who cares unless you gonna go to comps and need thousands of watts. DO MORE WITH LESS. it blows peoples minds when a 400 watt system sounds better and a 900watt one. Great truck man GM all the way.

If you were serious, I would.
But only if you asked me this coming summer, lived near me, and didn't want anything too nice.

What state do you live in?

i bought my JL and the box for $50 i belive that its the box it came in new i only had it hooked up to 40 watts and never made it hit hard and sold it to my bud for 50 and he hooked it up to 300watt mono block amp and it sounds crazyy.

That's a little too far, and the shipping costs on a sub box from VA to WI would be insane, if they even let me ship it.
I'll tell you what, if you PM me in a few months around June, I'll see what I can do.
I'll either make a nice little trip out of it and come bring it to you, or get you in touch with someone that can do it.
However, I can't guarantee it would be under 100. Depends on a few variables.

i dont need a sub box for the time being but what would be really nice is a small box for my amp because its sitting in the middle of the floor and it would be nice to have something covering it
