Had this little thing for over a year. Love it to death.

Here's a picture of it in its earlier days:

(yes, this is from wikipedia. I put it up there)

From the start, I had bearings and threaded axles (probably the 2 upgrades anybody should get first). Then I got the BB2 motor. Then I left it alone for a while.

Then yesterday, I got my Lipo from Action B. The Micro-T just flys with the LiPo. And kills the gearbox. I destroyed the diff in under 1 minute. Had to lock it up. Now one of the gears in the transmission is nearly destroyed. But still, I love this little thing :)

Whole back end had to be unassembled.

Now I have to spend more money on a aluminum gearbox and new transmission :'(

That why I spaz whenever I have to do some hard braking with my Slash. I know its got steel gears, but I'm just paranoid like that.

Uh, I thikn your gear is a bit more than shredded. How is my only question. How did you do that?

well over at mtf, they say u need ti shim ur diffs, cause if not some diffs will end up eating ur gears, luckily mine didnt need shimming :D
lol taiwanese kid, if u think think assembling the alum tranny is easy.. its not lmao, i put on the spur gear, then i realized i forgot the motor mount, then realized i forgot to screw in the tranny, another time to disassemble the spur, lmao took a very painful and angry 30 mins to get it right, maybe i shoulda followed the instructions tthey provided lmao!!

as for gearboxes, the 3r gearbox is one of the best, make sure you get the one that comes with the bearings for the spur shaft, its worth it, i nearly doubled my driving time with just those 2 bearings(brass kinda creates friction lol)

7.2 Volts + BB2 motor + full throttle = destroyed tranny in under 30 seconds.

I've been running lithium for awhile and ramp stuff a lot.

I try to ease into the throttle and when ramping make sure you half on throttle during landing to reduce drivetrain shock.

Also, loosening up the slipper a bit will help save your transmission as well.

Mine is still in good working order its the original. I do not have a BB2 motor though.

Got the tranny replaced (and slipper gear loosed) and now it works like a beaut ;)

I got bored and wanted to mount some Xmods rims onto the Micro-T using putty.

It went badly. The putty is obviously not too strong and got torn away. The only real benefit was that the Micro-T didn't flip. Which is rare.

Interesting that you put xmods rims on it. Looks good. lol
