Picked up a stock Mini-T today for the heck of it, and I haven't been disappointed. At first I was a little let down when I put in 4 AA's and switched it on. But after swapping those for the 7.2v li-po from my E-flite man this thing hauled. For the price I expected an experience similar to XMods, but it runs much more like the 1/10th scale cars than Xmods. With the li-po pack I need a wheelie bar; Gunning it causes it to flip over :p I also noticed it had the power to climb surfaces up to a 60-70 degree incline with ease. I can't wait to start some body work and get some upgrades.

A buddy of mine bought one and did a few upgrades. The first major problem he had with it was the transmission/clutch. It burnt up in a matter of minutes. Keep that in mind when doing your upgrades. Good buy though

I've got three mini-T's and they're the most fun RC that I've come across. The 4AA battery pack that it comes with give the misconception that they're not as powerful as they really are. In my opinion, upgrades that are essential are...in order...metal bearings, oil filled shocks, alloy differential, alloy spur gear, alloy pinions, alloy slipper clutch, motor upgrade (i like the venom fireball, for starters, it can be had for ten dollars). Depending on what direction you want to take it, onroad or offroad, there are many different options to help out with that, also.
