Just a small project for GearheadV8. Im rebuilding his Micro-T which is a pile of junk right now...LOL. She isn't getting any chassis hop-ups (Unless you reccommend any) as it is getting Xceleron brushless system, Chrome wheels and a new body. Here is how she looks right now, the new body and new parts that I ordered.

A pile of parts, she is missing screws, shocks, struts... etc.

I wouldn't say master, but thanks.... I can't wait till the rest of the parts show up so I can see how fast this brushless is.

that xcelorin system is goofy to set up, i have one on my mini T and for some reason i still can't get it to work in reverse. i puts out, though. i've got a 9600 kva and you've got me wanting to get a micro T.

No particular reason why you think the reverse might not be working? I love my Micro-T desert truck, it is the most fun of the small RC's I have. That little thing rips through the lawn without getting stuck or stopping in tall grass...and mine is stock besides some aluminum parts. No brushless or lipo or anything. I will be getting brushless for mine after I do this one for Gearhead.

Here is my Micro-DT. All I have for it is lithium, bearings and threaded axles.

Nice, I haven't really played with the Micro-T yet, but I feel like I like the DT much better. Here is my DT.... As you can see I have some aluminum parts but otherthen that she is stock. I did just order titanium shocks and front and rear spindles with the hex nut for the wheels (That should be the first upgrade you get on these things, as the C clip is to small and a pain) .... I think I want to get the Lipos before I get a brushless for mine also. What do you think about the difference with the Lipos and stock batteries.?

I ordered it used off ebay and it came with 2 lithium packs. The unfortunate thing is that the lithium batteries are for Micro-t not DT so they are smaller. If you know anyone that wants a lithium battery with charger and included plug for Micro-t let me know!

But they won't work with the DT...? Shoot me a PM, I am interested actually. Cool if you got a photo.

No, they do work but since the DT battery tray is bigger, it can fit a larger battery than the Micro-t. These are perfect size for Micro-T.

I have one thats still new in bag and with an unused charger.

This is my Micro-DT. I just installed front and rear threaded axles... man so much better, I think this should be the first upgrade for this RC, the C-clips, are a pain.

Well, now that Im back the TriX Micro-T and my Micro-DT brushless will be the first two projects I plan to finish up... Im going back to West Virginia for the Holidays and I am getting a Mini-DT for my nephew. Im going to bring my Mini-DT and the two Micros with me to play around, so I have to get them done before the 17th of December. Stay tuned for the progress.

PS- anyone selling LiPo for Mini-T or Micro-T or any other upgrades send me a PM, Thanks.

Well, this DT is suppose to be the brushless one, but I don't have a reciever yet, and wanted to bring it with me on Xmas Vaca.. So I did a quick rebuild. I made a temporary Lith pack using 2 AAA liths.

The 2 liths, on top the chassis, fit nice... No destruction to the chassis.

Did have to make a couple cut outs in the body though.

I made a cool little Antenna holder on the body, since I hate the little antenna wire flapping everywhere.
http://i270.photobucket.com/albums/jj116/theredmanfamily/2010-12-19_190410.jpg
Here is what I did, I soldered a male pin plug to the end of the Antenna, and a little shrink tude.
http://i270.photobucket.com/albums/jj116/theredmanfamily/2010-12-19_190256.jpg
Then I glued a small female pin plug to the rear of the body. The pin plug just plugs into it and holds it there.

Resluts... looks cool to me... runs fast for now, until I get my lipos, and the reciever to finish the brushless install. I also tied the cotter pins to the bumbers so I don't lose them.

The antenna mod is very creative! Does it help increasing the range?

I don't think it is increasing any range, just holding it there.
