AHHHHHH!!!
I built a motor out of the stage 2 rotor and inserted Neo magnets...
Put on the capacitor and other stuff...
Then I noticed, the motor was HOTTTT!!!
So, ok, I did not run it for a while afterward.
I tried it again a few days later...
Anyhow,
I took it apart yesterday.
The NEOs are weaker than the normal magnets...
I feel soooo bad about it...
Anyhow, I went to RS and found some small Neo's.
They are built to operate at about 176 degrees...
Then there was some kind of warning about 590 degrees
Imagine a stage 2 rotor getting up to 600 degrees...
WOW!!! its like racing brake rotors in a hard corner...
So, OK, I took it to the ohm meter and found NO short.
It led me to some other things...
frankenstein Rotor .47 ohms atomic mods
RT-X1 .49 ohms performancexmods
RS #2 .83 ohms 50 turns
RS#1 1.22 ohms
180 .61 ohms
