July 2009 COTM Judges

Hi all,

We are looking to put together the final list of judges for the July Patriotic Competition, I know a number of you have already volunteered but we need to firm up exactly who is going to participate in our new voting system.

As mentioned previously we have a new secret location that will allow the judges to discuss the entries in private and ultimately crown the winner, the voting criteria is going to be based around the following:

1. Patriotism
2. Chassis
3. Body
4. Electronics
5. Overall

There will be 5 separate polls running in tandem that allow the judges to vote on each of these criteria.

We will be picking and naming the judges on July 31st, again as mentioned previously two judges will be chosen per entrant with a maximum of 20 judges, so:

6 entrants = 12 judges
8 entrants = 16 judges
16 entrants = 20 judges

If you want to be judge then please add your name to this thread, if you have an entry you can't be judge, any questions please let us know otherwise be ready for a whole new voting experience.

Just to clarify you can give us your names as either a definite or a maybe and you'll be added to the list, if we have enough definite members to match the number of entrants then the staff will go over them and pick out who they think will work best, if we don't have enough then we will go through the maybes until we do.

Its quite like that you were the first to post but the purpose of this thread is to confirm who is still interested.

If anyone who posted in the original thread is still interested then they need to post in here so a final list can be determined and the XMS staff can select who they think the best judges will be.

Thanks to everyone who has volunteered so far!

As a reminder this thread will be closed this Friday and I guess we will use the weekend to pick judges so all the staff can comment on who they think will do the best job.

It is a six to six split between the remaining Staff members and regular members who volunteered.

The winner, and official prize, will be announced after the voting and tallying has been done.
