These rules are work in progress so they may change throughout the day, please hold any questions until we confirm they are finalized.

The following post lays out the Rules and Guidelines that you, as a member, are expected and required to follow while issuing any build off challenge here on Xmodsource.com.

A. Member Requirements:
1a. You must have fifty (50) posts to respond to any challenge issued to you.
1b. You must have one hundred (100) posts to create and issue your own challenges.
1c. To further enforce the above two rules (a & b), you are unable to view the Challenge section of the forum until your forum profile has reached a total of fifty (50) posts.

B. Challenge Rules:

2a. A challenge runs for the time period specified by you, however, we ask that you keep it sensible so as to keep people interested. Example: no three month challenges.
2b. Only one (1) challenge can be issued a week per member, if you create a challenge and then decide to cancel said challenge you must wait a week to create a new challenge. Failure to do so will mean deletion of any additional challenges you may have created.
2c. You may have only one (1) active challenge at a time. This will allow you to focus on completing your entry rather than working on multiple projects at once.

When you are ready create your challenge thread with a subject line of:

I Challenge "XXXXX"

Replacing "XXXXX" with the name of the member you wish to challenge. Information about your entry should be included, however it doesn't have to go into detail, just what the entry will be.

You need to then wait for the member you challenged to respond to your challenge thread and confirm that they accept the challenge. XMS Staff will then review the challenge, and assuming it meets the above requirements and looks interesting, both entrants will be given the permissions needed to post in the Member vs. Member forum area. At that point the rules and guidelines for that forum area should be followed.

Any questions please let us know.
