wanna win some money?
read EVERYTHING below to find out how....

ok guys, you know the deal, for the most part.....
if you've been keeping up with BART's thread then you know (hopefully you figured it out)that this month's theme is going to be in light of independance day and that there will be a substancial cash reward put together by the staff.(dont say we never gave ya anything;))

THIS IS NOT AN ENTRY THREAD!!!
this is a thread telling you to get your butts in gear if you wanna win some money.

deadline for entries will be july 31,09 so you have roughly a month and a half to brainstorm and build.
we're looking to make this comp one of the biggest yet so you'de better bring your A-game.

NEW VOTING!
not only are we offering a nice reward,we're also going to be testing a new voting system.
some people have complained that the current voting system has flaws such as people voting for freinds or because they liked the color.
so, we're going to select a panel of judges that will confer in a "secret location" to determine the overall winner.

voting criteria:
1.patriotism
2.chassis
3.body
4.electronics
5.overall

the way this is going to work is like this.
we've setup a "secret location" specifically for this comp and we're going to have 5 voting polls, one for each of the voting criteria.
1.patriotism (the more patriotic,the better)
2.chassis (stock chassis will give you no points here)
3.body (stock and/or unpainted bodies will give you no points here)
4.electronics (stock electronics/motors will give you no points here)
5.overall (open voting for best excecution, most appealing)

the winner is the member with the most accumulated points throughout the five polls.
with that being said, your best shot at taking home top honors is to do your best to appeal to the judges in each of the polls.

THEME/CAR REQUIREMENTS
Xmods Only!(gen1,EVO,EVOT)
model bodies are ok.
aftermarket and custom chassis'/parts/electronics are acceptable however, the vehicle must be recognizable as an Xmod.

again, this month's theme is american independance.
what we're looking for is anything that celebrates it.
i'm not gonna give you a bunch of ideas but fireworks(preferrably painted on),red white and blue,flags...etc will get you in,how you pull it off will determine if you win.
patriotism will play a big part in this comp.
be creative but don't make your car look like a hotdog and say it reminds you of baseball and nothings more american then baseball..........
just an example:

that's about it until the entry thread pops up.
please don't make us regret the time, money and fights that have gone into the planning so far.;)

let's make this a comp to remember.
NOW GET TO WORK!

You know what Reaper I had this argument with them already.... :) In the end I gave in and just said I'll enter something with something US independence related on it.... :)

I think however the general consensus was that if you aren't a yank then you can do something that represents the heritage of your country....
