The Pen Driveshaft Mod

Well I was bored the other day and I have seen this many times before. When someone gets that little tub from inside a pen and uses it as their driveshaft. It works but requires you to glue the bevel gear on. And it is alot lighter too. But you have to mdify the stock yellow bushings because it will not fit in the size hole they are. The holes need to be made a little bit bigger and you will be just fine. You guys should try it.

Pen tubes have to much flex so
I used a section of model stock
and modified it (Plastic skeleton
that the parts attach too). It fits
through my bearings and if you
take your time making the D-shaft
also fits good into the bevel gear(s).

alot stronger than the pen trick
and been holding up for 3 weeks
solid now without any problems.
