1/10 scale help

While it saddens me I think I want to move on to bigger and better rc's I was looking at kit cars because I have a radio already I just need some advice on which one. I have no idea about this stuff. Also I have around 150 bucks but soon will have around 250 so which one should I get

First off, what kind of driving are you looking to do?
Drift, racing, carpet...etc.

carpet racing at home. also my local track it carpet and ill be doing the stock class

I would first suggest you talk to the coordinator of your local hobby shops carpet races to see what chassis, motors, electronics and other things essential to this hobby are allowed to be used and raced. I would hate to see you purchase a $150 chassis and electronics kit to only be allowed to use it at home and not at the track like you intend to do because it is an illegal setup. ;)

Once we know what is legal and not legal we can help you from there.

I called them and they have a mod class and a open class for stock type cars ill be doing mod class. But first I want to buy a car to get decent a driving before I do tourneys. So all in all tourney are not important id rather drive it around my house. and they have a stock class that any 27 turn motor car enter

You can purchase a Tamiya TA-05, which are outstanding beginner chassis, or an Xray T2. Both of those cars are kits and have a great amount of tuning suspension wise. Once again both are belt driven AWD. If you go the AWD route, choose cars with belt drives. You can also get a RWD pan chassis like the Tamiya F103. HPI is coming out with a F1 chassis soon and Xray has a 1/12 pan chassis. Pan chassis are meant for carpet and they handle outstandingly if tuned properly and if the you know how to drive them correctly.

I recommend that you go down to 1/12 scale for carpet since it would be a bit easier to control.

They are good beginners cars, and come with an ESC. All you need is a battery, radio, receiver, and servo.
