The micro t board has been amazing. But now there is a big problem that annoys the hell out of me. For some reason, the board will randomly stop giving juice to the motor, and the car will simply stop. If I drive at a low speed, I don't notice the problem much. But as soon as I go above 75% throttle, it will randomly lock up. I have no problems with this on the dyno, only when its actually on the ground running. The only way to fix it is by disconnecting the batteries and reconnecting them again. Then, boom, everything works until the problem occurs again.

Does anyone know what is the cause of this? It is really hurting my performance.

EDIT: I forgot to add I tried different motors, same problem occurs.

This is a common problem it is the antenna. when you accelerate on the ground the antenna moves out of place.:

That can't be it, because I'm already using another antennae. Plus the servo works after the motor stops working.

another common cause of this is overgearing
it will cause the ESC to shut down as it has an overload proctection circuit on it
just try a smaller gear (pinnion)

There wouldn't be a way to just keep the electronics cool to run as I am, would there? Like thermal paste or something similar.

its not a overheating problem its load
the only way iv found is to reduce the pinnion size,

Nooooo, then I'll lose my 30mph speed!

I'll swap out motors and give it a try. Thanks for your help guys, I'll bump with findings, if anything.

are you sure that micro-t boards have a sleep mode, i e-mailed AM and they said i does but didn't know how to "wake it up" and suggested i e-mail losi, i did that and they told me there is no such thing!-(as a sleep mode)
