grigsby if our trying to save yourself some mula then just get a hypertorque motor and throw on a 4wd kit and youll be pushin some good speed without bnuying a slow accelerating expensive motor

the only problem with a stage 11 is that there have been cases in which they have over heated and melted the bevel gears and thats a messy thing... notice the motor fan listed right above the motor on www.xmodworld.com

I've never heard of the bevel melting, especially since the motor's heat is not near the bevel. I've destroyed a bevel or 2, but that was from really hard acceleration with my brushless xmod.
