I ran across these schmatics for a litium-Ion batter charger.

I followed the link form atomic mods http://shdesigns.org/lionchg.html

I'm good with wiring diagrams form being an auto tech, but I have never made a circuit board. I've priced this out (parts from RS), I would only save about $6 making it my self, but I like to tinker so it would be mostly for fun. The parts maybe cheaper from another sorce ( help here too).

My biggest question is how do I connect the loads on the board(I know solder but I'm think more along the lines of circuit forming).

Is their and publication any one could recomend to teach me this stuff, I could also use this skill to fix discountinued parts for my Implala.

You actually don't make a board but rather buy a ready-made board from RS. They have nothing on them, but have holes to solder your components onto. If it's cheap for you, I think it's worth a shot.
