Find a Mustang or Evo front bumper with the intercooler, take it off, then slap it on whatever.

or

You can buy some styrene:
-The bumpy kind that looks like the front of an intercooler
-A piece of .8 thick styrene so you can make it a bit thicker
-A 4mm or 3.5mm thick styrene tube for the the tubing (durr)

Glue the bumpy styrene on the .8 thick styrene, cut it to size, then glue some styrene tubing to it as well on the side, and viola, scratch built styrene intercooler.

oh. i don't have a mustang or evo. is there any other way?

the second way sounds good but i live in the middle of nowhere and can't get styrene... is there any housebhold item i can use?

try a very thinly fan-folded index card
cut
glue it to a flat index card, cut, then use flexy straws to make pipes, paint and "install"

it all worked except the "pipes" are to big. they look WAY oversized.

edit: i might be able to make them work though

sorry for the double

but i figured it out how it would work
heres some pics.
this is what i did first.

1. i glued the 2 straws together to create the "pipes"

2. i quick painted them to see if paint would stick. (it did) kinda

3. i glued a piece of card to the grill so that the straws wouldn't go through.

4. i taped it so i didn't have to hold it for 3 hours.

5. i placed (afterletting dry for 20 minutes ) one end in to make sure it fit. then put the other in and pulled it tight to the paper.

6. i will make a Radiator out of old playing cards to custom fit this. :D

(this is in the rough it will GREATLY be refined and made to look nice.)

thank xmdrift for this idea.

8. glue the radiator to the straw and paper and tape so you don't have to hold.

any questions comments, suggestions are welcome and greatly appreciated.
pics are with phone so don't complain.

taiwanesekid05 are you saying there is styrene plastic that comes shaped to appear as though its vent-like with lots of "grooves" in it?

and Himynamebebrian if the straws don't workout for you, you could use the ink-tubes from inside a dead pen...
