Hello everyone, Im not new to the xmods since i have been an enthusiast since they first came out on the market. Unfortuantly after the first generation retired i kinda just let mine sit from the day i first got it till now. Mainly because i couldnt find many parts for it. recently i found a site called atomic mods and now im starting to get back into the hobby.

ha, i wouldnt mind taken ppl around the block.. but yeah i live in cali.

the mod... it has a stage 2 motor, used to have an AWD kit but i lost the lube it comes with that it eventually started going to hell so i took it back off.. besides that just body kit.

Hey thank you, uhmm basicly right now my mod doesnt run cuz i took the AAA packs off i plan on upgrading to the lithium and maybe stacking 2 FET's ?

then i think it would be fun to drift an xmod so either drift and grip to switch off and on. but i might get the supra xmod soon. im currently looking for one. so that one would be the track and the subi would be drift.

I just like to have custom things on the car that really make ppl awh when they check it out.

Depends, if you can find someone to do a FET stack for cheap, then go for it. If not, and it runs into $30+ I'll get a Spider V4 which can be found at Xmodsinternational.com. It's $40 I believe and it's equal to a 5x2 stack. I can be wrong, it's getting late and I'm getting tired. Do you mind getting pictures of the chassis? Just so we can get an idea of how things are going to be.

You can run 4WD, which will give you excellent control in both conditions, drift or track. You just need to switch the tires. You'll also want to get the tight turns upgrade, it helps you turn sharper, so that would help in drifting or track racing.

If you want to run li-ions, I recommend A LOT of GPM. Start with the f/r joint cups, then go on from there. Not to mention get bearings first.

It builds up over time! But if you want something simple and rather cheap. I'd say do mostly RadioShack stuff. Bearings, AWD, motors etc... I'll still get the tight turns upgrade and possibly do a 6 cell for that extra power. Get some f/r GPM joint cups, those would break first. And get hard slicks for drifting and soft slicks/threads for track racing. That should get you well started and on your way. Not to mention under $100.

Exactly that. It does get expensive. I got a full set for $130, minus battery clips, f/r top decks and front swing arms. IMO, good deal.

nice 240sx my uncle has one his body style is the SE. I plan on getting it from him. Trying to do the same as you are with yours. but i the supra in red, it makes it look like you up on the track. but welcome!

Lol i suck at drifitng. this is going to be my track car thats for sure but its also gonna be the car i learn in.

i still have yet to learn decent drifting. i drift in the supra once and awhile to get the feel but i needa fo it alot more.

ohh ha, nah im keeping it for the 240sx. i used to run it boosted all the time. but the engine gave out......... so forged internals are coming!!
