Introduction:
This Xmods GenIII Corvette is the prize from the December, 2008 Car of the Month Competition. The winner of that Competition was . Before shipping out his prize, SPR granted me permission to have a micro photoshoot with his newly won possestion. Not only did this turn out to be a learning experience for me, it also turned out some of the best Xmods photographs I have ever taken.

Setup:
-Camera: Nikon D2X.
-Lense: Nikon 28-105mm Macro.
-Flash: Nikon SB Speelight 800 with globe.
-External Lights: One 50W bulb.
-White backdrop.

i know it may sound silly but i like the little donzii photography in the corner ...small detail that makes it look very professional...great pics...i would love to pick your brain someday on some camera advice...when i am a little more serious about buying a nice one

I personally don't like the look of my Z06 right now, can't find a good wheel and tire combo

Trust me, it was difficult. The quality of the body has really gone downhill since Gen1/EVO1.. Light shines through every spot it can. You can even still see the difference in color from part to part in my pictures.. blah!

Actually, I believe it's the quality of the plastic, not the quality of the paint. I can't feel the orange peel like I normally can. Feels just as smooth as the rest of the body, which shows no signs of orange peel. Plus it's on all of the windows, not just the one. :shrug:

lol. nice photos, but those closups really show off the little flaws in the details such as the light covers and other little mess ups done by radio shack.

Yeah... Lol. That's why custom is the way to go, which I have no doubt SPR will be doing with this body sometime in its future.
