Zippo -- Welcome to the competition and good luck.

deckerz -- Erm.. i'm not sure what the hell you're trying to enter..? A Mustang or a Firebird? Either way, your post is not acceptable. Please refine it to include your completed entry.

XXX - 1968 GTO Custom. (Build thread - http://www.xmodsource.com/forum/showthread.php?t=15638 )

*She started out as a 69' Judge, but I went 68' custom with her. Lots more photos will be posted today in my build thread.
Big points i worked on besides making it look as nice as possible, were the wheels sitting where they should in the wells, and no batteries sticking out of the bottom. Shims in the knuckles and My X3.2 high chassis bottom plate hooked that up. (details in the build thread)

Here's my entry. It's my Dad's 1978 Chevrolet Monza 2+2 Spider. Here's some specs:

Stock Xmods Street long chassis
former yellow dealer promotional body
spoiler made from shortened Firebird BK spoiler
'67 Camaro wheels/tires
hand painted bumpers
custom made louvers and side windows
custom Spider hood decal

Now, before pics a backstory of the car. My dad purchased it from a friend when he got his drivers license as his first car. He never drove it in the wintertime, leading to some eventful winters driveing around in lemons like barf green Pacers, junky Novas, and other cars from the local junkyard. He took such good care of it, that it was 100% driveable (and cherry) until an unfortunate accident where my moms car was out of gas, so my dad let her drive it, and while crossing a 2-lane highway (no stoplights) got T-boned, bending Chevy's H-chassis. Right now it is in the process of being converted to a pro-street dragster, and is unfortunately just a body, frame, axles and wheels sitting in a garage.

Let me first start with a picture of the original car (better pictures may come later)

Now here's the Xmod! (sorry for the odd quality. my camera's battery died, and i lost its charger so i had to use my dads camera)

Citing a friend of mine, yes, I do have a life outside of XMS. However, I do severly appologize for my absense over the past three/four days. Between training for the State Swimming competition, doing AP Chemistry and Government tests as well as the other added tests and homework that teachers love to give out, I've been a little swamped this past week. I assure you the voting thread will be posted within the next twenty-four hours as well as the new "Open Class February" COTM. Since it's Open Class, I'm sure everyone will have a nice entry to post. ;)

Oh, and XXX, I'm not twenty-one yet as well as an athlete; I don't drink. Once twenty-one hits, however, I cannot say this will hold true. ;)

Cheers,
Kyle.
