Motor burns out. Binding batteries could be dead. It don't like you. I would try charging the battery and then trying

well the tranny in my micro dt gave me a simalar problem, my motor was working but my wheels would not spin, turned out one of dif gears was totaly stripped, after meshing with a brass gear but not enough grease and driving it on the wrong surface is what i think attributred to it

no worries, its a pretty cheap and fairly simple fix, cost me $5 for new gears, but make sure when you open it up you keep track of all the screw there are alot a many of them are very tight...how much are you paying for it and is it a micro T, DT, Raminator or the Baja

im trading an xmod hummer for it and yes it is a micro t. I dont mess with the hummer any more and the guy was wanting something to make a mini crarwler out of.

well couldnt it alos be the esc though? like do you know if it makes a little whistle at all when you apply throttle? if so then yea its the trans prolly but if not then its prolly something to do with the motor and you say that the guy has replaced the motor well ok lets work our way back, motor, esc, or it might be a simple bad connection maybe?

the wires on the esc are cheap and fragile and tend to break at the solder joint.
i've had to re-solder a few of the wires on my T's.
also might be a burned mosfet but thats less likely since you don't have fwd or rev, unless both fets are burnt.:-?

if it is an electronics problem i wouldn't go through witht the trade unless you have enough cash to replace the board, better yet get the guy who ones it to pay for at least half of it..

try the crystals, jiggle/move them around and see if that works. try the antenna mod too:
