Hey there, names Ashley. I'm 22 and yes a chick, from the northshore of MA. I've been into RC's for awhile, had a 1g xmod for awhile and have had my current 2g for two years.

I'm also president of a car club IRL...about 27 members with a wide variety of vehicles. My own ride is a '93 Mazda MX-6 with some mods, and I'm going to be fixing up a '77 Vette.

Here's my xmod:

Anywho, that's about it. I'm open to questions and such.

Howdy.. Texas?

Anyways, sweet real life cars. Can't say I've seen an MX6 ever, beyond the Miata MX-something... Vette and the Mach have gotta be fun.. Especially when you free the Vette of those late-70s emissions set backs.

And *****en' firebird.

Welcome to xms

edit: and MSI on the Mazda video?

nah I say howdy on all the boards I join haha. I'm def a yankee whos a fan of the sox :D

the miata is an mx-5, and mx-6s are the same as ford probes, but lighter, better weight balance, more luxurious, better looking, and well...a better name haha.

vette hasn't been driven in 5 years (my 17th birthday in fact) but will still start up no prob when theres a battery in her, and my dads mach needs a clutch. it's got 'some' go-fast and handle-right mods ;) 425? to the wheels.

thanks for the welcome.

welcome to xmodsource. nice bird you have (firebird) looks really clean ever run it? that ford stang is sick i like that paint job. the vette is awesome also but whats wrong with the front end looks like you tried to do some james bond stunts like driving through a brick wall or something. the MX-6 is cool like the hooters sticker by the gas door. so what mods do you have done on the Mazda? don't forget to read the rules and guidelines.:)

Welcome to Xmodsource. Please be sure to stop by the Forum Rules and Guidelines section of the forum and check out all the rules and guidelines. I wouldn't want to see you get slammed with infraction points over something silly. ;)

Cheers,
Kyle.

thanks, I read the Rules and Regulations while waiting to get accepted onto the board :P I think so far I've been good...

Anyway, never run it, honestly I just got it going a couple months ago since I have a busy life and hate soldering. I still want to get another chassis and redo the wiring for the batteries.

front end on the vette is coming off...the bumper shattered and such, and it's in primer.

as far as my mazda, i posted a thread about it in the real car section...just gotta wait for it to be accepted ;)

ps: i get free wings at hooters :)

it's fun as heck to drive...but it needs a lot of work. to be drivable it needs pretty much a new front end/steering parts as well as the floor welded and the seats rebolted...then it needs a new bumper, paint, tuneup, int, yadayada.

my first priority is fixing the misc problems with my car :D

Ooo the 'vette everyone's talking about. We have a similar one thats been garaged for who knows how long. It's a late 80's model i believe - never really asked, lol.
But welcome, and have fun. :]

SHE SPEAKS THE TRUTH. I've had a truck for 2 years that got little down besides dropping a motor in. I sold my Firebird, got 2 grand, and it's **** near road ready in 2 weeks.

Good to know I ain't the only broke one here.
