Need some horror games

This christmas I'm lookin for some games. No, not Super Elmo Adventures or Hanna Montanna Hero.

I'm lookin' for a list of the bloodiest, most violent, gorriest games the PS2 offers. I'm talkin' Man Hun twisted. Gun happy games are a good choice as well.

This wouldn't happen to be the resident evil where the intro involved the girl running from a helicopter that had a gattling turret? Can't remember which one it was, my friend had that and the game was horrible. It was stuck in the PS1 era...

Have you tried Alone in the Dark (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alone_in_the_Dark_(2008_video_game))? My friend played it when it first got out and said he liked it, but I never had a chance to pick it up and try for myself.

Sure, if you have a PC that can handle the game. PC games are better, but most PCs aren't.

Did you check out Dead Space? Played it, and its freakin scary playin alone in your room late at night, lol...

Otherwise maybe Fallout 3? I've played it although its not nearly as scary as dead space, doom, or any of the Resident Evil series...

PS2 mayne. Can't do deadspace.

Doom I never found too scary, but I haven't played much of the newer ones.

Bioshock is a badass game for the guts too.
