Speed, Kv means that for every volt of power, you get (X) amount of RPM.

So, at 10,250Kv motor at one volt will spin at 10,250 RPM, while the 8,oooKv at one volt will spin at 8,000 RPM. Then at 2v the 10,250kv motor will spin at 20,500 rpm and so on and so forth.

This is my understanding atleast.

i believe you are right texan.. depending on the gearing, it really depends if you want a torque monster or a speed demon when it comes to brushless systems. ive got 2 vendettas both brushless. one has a 5400kv and the other 2100kv. such a huge difference in how both run on the same gearing.
