View Full Version : Starting my miniz project

Been awhile since I was on here I recently bought a mini-z MA-010, with the subaru body, I decided to start by working on the chassis. Not much done so far just bearings and put the spinbrush mags in the stock motor, I have the SAS suspension but gotta wait on the mail a couple more days for the new differential to get here. Also put the SSG front chassis on. Here some pictures of it far, the hood scoop is gone as well as the mirriors and spoiler, im planning to repaint it since i ding'd it up a few places, wish I had took the pics before I ran it lol.

any problems with it out of box.I want one but i hear to many bad things about it.

I hear otherwise, even about MR-01s. If you have the cash, get it dood.

/agree Mini-z is great just make sure you "tune" it or if it gets too far away itll go crazy lol. Im looking in to a color for it SPR any suggestions? im kinda wanting somethin unique.

looking good so far but if you are thinking of racing it id gat a mclaren or enzo body and save the scoob for messing with :)

I think ill take teh advice and leave the subaru as-is. Not sure what body to go with, this is more of a chassis project I guess, too expensive to have more then one car. After i bought my 2ed xmod i just kept upgrading it like my first one so that was kinda a waste lol

ill buy that subaru body from ya if you go with something else! just keep it in mind.

As for a racing body though, i agree with others, i think a skyline would be a pretty sure bet.
