This is my new Heli that I just acquired. Believe it or not Kohls was selling them and we were there to get new clothes. Good thing I took my $$$$, I knew I had to have it. It was on sale for $47.99 instead of $79.99. Seems pricey but it is consider Hobby Quality and my hobby shop sells 'em every now and then. There is also a Fire Strike Pro but that is more money and I've only seen them at a hobby shop upstate. So I take it out, put in batteries, charge. First flight. Wow I was surprised, it was incredibly stable for a 2Ch heli. Required a tad bit of trimming but then it was flying perfectly. Greatest Heli experience(besides dad's CX2 and the simulators) I ever had. It flew for close to 8 minutes. Not bad. I have flown it countless times already and it does not disappoint. Flies a whole lot better than my Havoc Stinger(dead) ever did and Micro Havoc(still alive aka Silverlit Picoo Z MX-1 Extreme) Very stable and actually controllable. The throttle stick isn't even spring loaded! This is my most fun air RC besides my Air Hogs Jet Scream. Sorry if this is more like a review but heres the pics. I even put it next to my Xmod for reference.

Actually it is made of foam so it is relatively light.

Hell yeah. Its a sick heli and incredibly easy to fly. Looks great in the air, like the real thing. The body is painted and looks scale. It's a CH46F for those who are wondering.

That's good to hear that it flies good. I was looking at these a while back when I was trying to find the radline motors. I have 2 Havoc Helis and I thought it would be cool to have one of these babies, I just didn't like the price. Does it turn pretty good and all, and does it go forwards better than the Havoc Heli?

It turns amazingly. The Firestrike Pro can go up down left right forward and reverse. This one can do up down left right and can go forward slightly(2CH heli like the havoc) but it actually turns, very stable and for the extra bucks, definitely worth it.

Yeah target has these too. Are they pretty decent for beginners?

Yeah. It's better than a havoc(even though its bigger) because it is a lot easier to control. I have nothing against Havocs(Picoo Z's) I own a Micro Havoc I am just saying that this is better.

Sorry for the double post but an update on these awesome helis. At night, they can fly outside(sunlight+infra red=badness) I had it as high as it could go, lowered the throttle, but it wouldn't decend. Cut the throttle, still went up, then it finally began to fall, I gave it throttle and it went outta control and I must be lucky. It landed on a bag of our animal cage shavings(dad was cleaning the cages) Dad says I got so lucky then made a joke about how I should play the lottery on being so lucky. I have had my fair share of crashes and that shows on the body of the helicopter. Performing "missions" is also good fun. I clear a spot on my clothing drawers and put the box from the Air Hogs Jetscream on the bed(thats covered in my stuff until I get the rest of my new furniture) Always good fun playing with it.

Lol. Shoulda gotten it. I don't care what anyone says this is considered hobby quality, made by Revell and Hobbico, sold at my many LHS', and can handle much more hard crashes than a Havoc.

funny, i just picked up a havoc heli from wallywolrd yesturday for $30. i might have to get one of those tho, this thing is the ****s to fly lol!
going up/down is the easy part, trimming it for some control b4 it hits the wall or crashes into the couch is the hard part.

I love my Micro Havoc(Picoo Z MX-1) but I'm afraid that I love the Fire Strike more. Once its trimmed, its pretty much trimmed! Also its much more stable in air and the throttle stick is not spring loaded.

So since the throttle stick is not spring loaded, does that allow it to stay in place?

Pretty much yes. Sometimes you have to give it more or lower it.

Nice pick up, Xmodracer. This reminds me a lot of the Twister SkyLift (http://www.hobby-lobby.com/twister-skylift.htm).

Thats what I thought when I got it except this is smaller and only the Fire Strike Pro could match up to that because it can fly forward and back, left right, up down.
