Hay guys, I am new to xmods. in fact i have not got mine yet. i ordered two off of ebay. both have lithium batteries, AWD kits, ball bearing kits...ect. one is a first generation the other is the Evo. I also ordered the lithium charger and some drift tires from another site. so far I am in to the hobby for about $100. wish me luck!!! PS if anybody knows of a 3rd gen camaro body for xmods let me know.

Welcome to XMS! You'll have fun with those 2 cars I bet, I've heard Gen 1's are a lot of fun! With those lith's they will sure zip around too! Not sure of a 3rd gen camaro body for the xmods, but you could always get a model kit, and use the body from it!. ;)

to answer all question... yes i will post pictures when i can. I do own a 88 iroc camaro "third gen". the 1st gen car is an acura RSX with two bodies. the Evo car is a blue mustang.

i got the set for..$48 + S&H and then I had to order the lithium charger from atomic and that was like another $25.00. I just hope the guy that had it befor me did all the upgrades the correct way....

well...it was an ebay auction and the cars did not come with a charger, so i dont know if the guy has run the cars with lithium or not yet. they look pretty well built so i took the risk and bought the set but if the guy screwed up the install or ran the batteries without charging them then it may not turn out to be that great of a deal. he said that the last time he ran the cars they worked perfectly. at this point my fingers are crossed, i am anxious, and optomistic!! on top of all this, i bought a 1985 camaro model kit at a flea market today ($13)so if the cars work i will be making a thirdgen camaro xmod!!

so hear is what i have so far. the complete car is a jada toys 1/24 scale toy car that i painted before i painted my real 88 camaro, just to see how it would work. the model is my possible donor for my xmods.
I have done searches on this forum and have not come up with any third gen camaros. just Kitt the firebird, which is awsome but still not a camaro!! if anyone could post a link that would be sweet!!

as an up date. my cars have still not arived. i emailed the seller on monday and he said tue-wed they should be here. he sent them usps priority so there is no track info. it is now friday and still no package. i am going to the postoffice tomorrow to see if they can help. the seller had 100% positive feedback on ebay. on the plus side... i got my charger and drift tires from atomic!
