i was wondering if .by any chance the forum could be set up so who ever made the thread..can either change the name of it..close it open it,delete peoples post or edit peoples posts

i like the idea of being able to change the name but beyond that may become a disaster. Excuse my bd grammar im on a crappy hotel keyboard,that requres a hammer to pres the keys

I will look into this but I don't believe we can set it up as requested, all I could do is give everyone the ability to edit everyones stuff which would just be a nightmare!!

it's a good idea, but i don't see it going through anytime soon...the current moderators have enough on there plate as is, and adding in more would just make things difficult....

i dont think things would be good because it may turn into a way of retaliation but if we could choose the colors that we what the treads to be that would be kinda cool imo like when the creator of the thread goes to set it up they could choose a backdrop color?

I think the staff does a pretty good job (that is why were here after-all). I have changed titles and other things at users request in the past. Thinking before you post is the key here:) .

couldnt you have put a bit more effort into that post like i think it would be kinda cool if the user could change the stuff to suit the mood of the thread or anything other reason youd like to think of, cause that would kinda fall under moding your own thread dont you think? just a sugestion... oviously someone didnt like that.

The only thing people should be able to do to their threads now is change the name. That is the only thing people should be able to do. Everything should be moderator responsibility.

you can change the title of your thread.... just edit the first part select go advanced and you change it there.... And it is only in bst when you can close your own thread

Can't change the name on a thread, but if you PM one of us with the link to the thread and what you want the new title to be, we can change it.

I'm semi-against this. I can see some members abusing that power and messing with other peoples posts inside the thread already..
