help with a moster truck

i need help building my moster wat moter should i use :-? should i use lithium batts. :-? are thay worth the money :-? can i just use 6cell :-? are fets hard to put in :-? and will this stuff carry my truck

you should use lithium batteries or a v2 board w/ six cell yes liths are worth the money but mine hav been out charged and for a motor u should use the monster motor from www.minizworkshop.com , nuke 130 sm from www.atomicmods.com or any 180 size motor

For your FET question they require precise soldering. ANd i suggest you get aluminum cups because big tires will snap your cups and strain your motor.

If you don't know the answer, don't pretend that you do. You don't need a V2 for a 6 cell, and your idea of running a 6 cell with li-ions is just plain stupid since you never mix battery types.

Back to subject. Fets are very difficult to install. If you can't solder, you can do any of the things you've mentioned. I personally for a Monster truck would use the highest-torque motor possible along with either a 6 cell OR 2 li-ions. If you go the li-ion route, make sure you don't run them below 3 volts/cell, otherwise you damage them, and they are useless. You only need 2 because they put out 3.6 volts per cell. If you want to use more than 2, you will need a V2, which is one of the easiest installs for a fet board that I've seen.

i never said 2 run a six cell w/ lithiums thats just plain stupid and i no wut im talking about wen i said use a six cell w/ the v2 board its because its easier 2 install than fets and he said "are fets hard to put in?" and yes they r extremely hard 2 put in i wouldnt try it a second time my first board had a fet upgrade i put on it and it didnt help much and it took 4 ever 2 do but any ways if u want more torque u should put a special made bevel gear in the front of your awd system because on my car i managed 2 strip off all the teeth and i wasnt even using a high torque motor so i hav 2 machine out an aluminum 1 because u cant buy 1 that i no of just for your benefit you should watch wut your awd system is doing every once in a while

Well, first, try to make your posts more coherent. Second, if he's using a motor with high winds, it shouldn't draw much.

A v2 is a substitution for fets and is way easier to install.
