bam motor blown, servos fried and wires smoking. I wish I had that kind of money to burn

if u hav a v2 board u could do it w/o damaging anything but the motor you could even go 3 if u really wanted 2 but your motor would fry in a sec

lol u will fry your board, iv learned for experiance....and you will kill your motor to, but if u can getting it workin without a hitch let me know, lol cuz i want a18 volt car,lol....good luck is all i can say

well ive hooked up three 9 volts to a motor and ran it for quite sum time and it did not wreck the motor but im not sure about the electronics i want to use as little electronics as possible because i am hoping to make this a good drift car

the point that everyone is tryin' to make is that the main board will fry in a heartbeat without some sort of voltage regulator.

what kind of regulater will i need

the V2 from atomicmods.com is what I recommend.

Totally pointless. Do it right, and buy 4 li-ions, plus a V2.

i would buy that but i dont want to spend much money on this i just want to make a car that runs of 9 volts

Andy07

the V2 will only allow so much volatge thru
the point of having extra liths is for longer run time
correct me if im wrong but this is wat iv been told

Ohhhh, you want to run 2 9 volts in parallel for double mah and singular voltage (9 volts total)? If that's so, no V2's needed.

What do you mean parallel? I dont get this.

blacksky parralel is when two batteries are hooked up positive to positive and negative to negative with a conductor. Which makes the batterys run less current (9 volts) and the other battery charges the other battery which makes them last longer.

It's when you wire + to + and - to - on batteries that are EXACTLY the same, which will add the mah, but keep voltage the same. For example, if you wire 2 100 mah 9 volts in parallel, you'll have a 200 mah 9 volts setup. If you wire them in series, it'd be 18 volts with 100 mah.

I see but wouldn't 9 volts break your car? And why did you put " LOL,1313 post?

in parralel they would run 9 volts meaning the same electromotive force, not less current that is amps. you now not that it really matters I'm just trying out that quote thing.
