rock band help

i got rock band today but anytime i try to play it says: microphone not detected. please insert usb to play as vocalist. thats fine and dandy but i want to play as guitar not singer. its for Wii. has anybody else had this problem? help me PLEASE!!

If you are trying to play as a band where the mic was used when it was created it will not let you, try creating a new band or playing the "quick" non band mode.

no. after a few calls to EA i figured out that,you can play rock band with a guitar hero controller on 360 and playstation but not wii,which i have so tomarrow im going to wal-mart to get my money back. can mod close this? im sorry for taking up time and stuff. thanks zx9rbart
