can i put a 9v batt in my 4 aaa mod

the limitations of a stock xmod is 8.4 volts...the 6/10ths of a volt difference I don't see being a problem... It's the fact that a 9volt batt would only last a few minutes in an xmod. I don't see it being very cost effective in the long run. I suggest a li-ion upgrade.
