You can get a lithuium upgrade.

Yeah Lith helps a LOT...
Then there is NEO magnets that you can swap to a stage 2 motor and 11 tooth pinion.
Bearings would help.
If you could find a set of wide foam wheels, it should help too.
If you have Lith, then I suggest you look into metal GMP front steering cups and front wheel drive cups (for 4WD setups).
Light oil for the moving parts.

At first I thought I cooked my car, ended up being one of my stage II motors. But these NIMH 800mAh batteries fly like a rocket ship!

It is a fun drifter with AWD too!! :o

hey are the neo mags hard to install? id like to do that to my motor but im afraid i'll get half way in and screw it up

The main thing is remembering that the NEO magnets have one that is marked with a black (mark). Put the magnets in the can with that mark facing 03:00 position, or simply said, look at the car from front to rear and right side up. If you take out the motor and face it the same way, you will notice the black wire on the right side of the car (stage left).
You put the black mark on the side with the black wire, Which facing rear to front is the drivers side of the car, (stage left).
