this fall microsoft is having a update for the system. some of us already got the preupdate download that is just for when the real thing is released. i got my preupdate last night because i was on live on 2 o'cloack last night and i got it. so all you people that singed into live this morning you got the preupdate, when the full update comes out it will look like this:

ok i honestly think this was an unnecisary step. most of the people who play the 360 are either college kids or really little kids. the little kids shouldnt even be playing anyway... but my point here is most of the people who play the 360 do it for the xbox live fighting against other people. nobody will say, "ouch you got me, and your avatar has a nice hair do." honestly your avatar will look nothing like you so why add it?

big bump, i guess they are going to have avatar packs from what i heard, so you can have master chief for your avatar or a guy form cod4 or cod5...ect...

Its an attempt to steal the Wii owners away by making the live interface more user friendly, there's going to be tons of games and fun stuff for the younger kids to do when this is released to everyone so xLive won't just be about going online and killing your friends in a team deathmatch.... :) I was hoping to get this as I got the email about it but no such luck so I'm still waiting to be prompted for the download....

you can get a silver membership which is free and still buy things in the marketplace and receive updates. Personally I don't like it, its like the PS3 and Wii Menus combined big time.

all in all the new up date is very cool but there are a couple things they delayed like avatars games you were supposed to get for free now your going to have to pay for them when they release them.:evil:

i got an update yesturday when i turned my xbox on, and was like EFF that so i just shut my box off didnt have time to deal with it lol.

so is this what it wanted me to download? Looks way ***. if i wanted to play wii it take my hand and move it 3 inches to my right and turn the wii on instead of my xbox.

yes, that's what it was. it is effin straight, but it does come withparty chat, so you can talk to more than one person in chat. it's worth it for that, but otherwise it's crap.

Man I need to get my *** on live to upload this *** app,and to play with homes (ON COD4).
